When you use LegalSimplifier, we may collect the following: • Account information (name, email address) when you sign up • Documents you upload or paste for simplification • Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps) • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers)
We use collected information to: • Provide and improve the LegalSimplifier service • Process AI simplifications, translations, and risk analyses • Send transactional emails (receipts, account alerts) • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your uploaded documents are treated with the utmost care: • Documents are deleted from our servers immediately after processing in Privacy Mode (on by default) • Documents are only stored if you explicitly save them to your account • We do not use your document content to train AI models • All document transfers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Account data is retained as long as your account is active • Processed documents (not saved) are purged within minutes of processing • Saved documents are retained until you delete them or close your account • You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We may use analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how users interact with the service. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
